I’m My Brother’s Keeper is the groundbreaking masterwork by nationally acclaimed Texan artist, Bruce Wood®. This bold and daring work depicts the complex emotional dynamics among fathers, sons, grandfathers, and brothers, reminding men of their power, vulnerability, and humanity, and highlighting the intense impact they have on one another. The work was selected for the APAP American Dance Platform at The Joyce Theater in January 2020!

Dvorak Serenade by Lar Lubovitch, radiates joy, beauty, and his signature rich and layered choreography. Lar Lubovitch has been named “one of the ten best choreographers in the world” by The New York Times, which describes his work as “lushly romantic” and “shamelessly beautiful.” Described by the Chicago Tribune as flowing and transcendent, this masterpiece delivers romance, and virtuosity as dancers glide through the four movements from Dvorak’s Serenade in E Major echoing grace and beauty along the way.

Love and War, a world premiere by Ben Stevenson O.B.E., immerses viewers in a poignant journey through the resilience of love amid the chaos of war. Set to Chopin’s beautiful Ballad No. 1 in G Minor, Opus 23, this intimate and emotionally charged duet captures both the tenderness and the turmoil that accompanies love in times of crisis.

Love Songs is a world-premiere choreographic collaboration between Kimi Nikaidoh, Nycole Ray, and Jennifer Mabus. The all-women creation team pays tribute to the legacy, vision, and experiences as performers with Bruce Wood; creating a deeply resonant work inspired by their shared experiences and heartfelt connections.

Echoes promises a transformative experience celebrating the powerful resilience of love. This program is designed to uplift and rekindle your faith in humanity.
