After School And Action!: Behind the Scenes of Disney Musicals in Schools at Pleasant Grove Elementary

In February, we visited Pleasant Grove Elementary to see how their Disney Musicals in Schools(DMIS) production of Frozen was coming along. The school, along with four other schools performing at the Student Share Celebration at the Margot & Bill Winspear Opera House on May 11, is in the early stages of planning, but has already seen the benefits of a program that fosters joy and confidence in both students and teachers. 

We spoke to a few stars from the production about how, in just a few short months, DMIS has transformed their after-school experience and their sense of accomplishment.
