“If there is any company working today whose dancers pack a more sophisticated and vibrant kinetic punch than those of Ronald K. Brown/ Evidence, I can’t think of it.” – The New York Times
It’s so great to leave the theater not just satisfied, but truly uplifted. The New York Times says it best, “If there is any company working today whose dancers pack a more sophisticated and vibrant kinetic punch … I can’t think of it.” Ronald K Brown/ EVIDENCE is that special—profound, absolutely moving, and a performance experience to be felt rather than merely watched. The work explores the importance of community in African American culture, offering a deeply soulful evening of dance that everyone should experience—an event not to be missed.

7:30 p.m.

“Gravitation is one of the four fundamental forces that govern the universe. . . Today, according to a principle of alternation between pieces based on pure research and more narrative ballets, I expect this set of problems involving gravity to open up new writing spaces for me.” – Angelin Preljocaj
TITAS is beyond excited to welcome back France’s incredible Ballet Preljocaj with their breathtaking work, GRAVITÉ, an exploration of gravity. Hard to believe it’s been since 1998 that Preljocaj last wowed Dallas audiences! One of France’s most celebrated contemporary dance companies, we couldn’t be more thrilled to bring their world-renowned artistry back to the TITAS stage.
Based in Aix-en-Provence, France, Angelin Preljocaj’s company is known for its bold, dramatic choreography—brought to life by stunningly skilled dancers and striking music. These performers are pure athleticism and artistry, and from the moment they step on stage, they own the audience.
Captivating, boundary-pushing, and endlessly inventive, Ballet Preljocaj is a shining example of European contemporary dance at its finest. Their return to Dallas is long overdue, and trust us—you won’t want to miss it!

After 20 years performing on international stages with companies such as RUBBERBAND, Nederlands Dans Theater 2, Crystal Pite’s Kidd Pivot, Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, Gulbenkian Ballet in Portugal, Plamondon took the leap into choreography in 2012, and the world has taken notice.
Her work has been earning rave reviews across the globe, celebrated for both its technical brilliance and its genuine emotional depth. Unique, powerful, and deeply moving, TITAS is proud to present this company’s U.S. debut.
HUNG DANCE (TAIWAN) (World Premiere)

“BIRDY, a sublime choreography.” – La Provence
Live performance can inspire in many ways. Birdy draws inspiration from a wide range of artistic and cultural elements. HUNG DANCE, in Chinese (hung 翃, lit. to fly) reflects the aspiration to soar. Seamlessly blending Chinese opera, mythology, and Tai Chi with contemporary dance, Hung Dance creates a mesmerizing fusion of tradition and innovation.
Cool lighting, simple but powerful costume designs, electrifying movement, Hung Dance captivates the audience. And the features? They are truly extraordinary. Some of the most unforgettable moments in a performance are those so striking they elicit audible gasps from the audience. Birdy delivers several such moments. At its core, Birdy explores the profound connections between humans and nature.
Hosting one of Taiwan’s most accomplished dance companies here in Dallas is a true honor. We are deeply grateful to the Crow Museum of Asian Art of the University of Texas at Dallas for their continued support of Asian artists in the TITAS series.

Equally masterful in both ballet and flamenco, Bernal’s precision and stage presence are nothing short of mesmerizing. Accompanied by three soulful musicians and extraordinary flamenco dancers, he pushes the boundaries of both art forms, creating something bold and new.
This is an exhilarating and unforgettable performance. Don’t miss it.
