DALLAS’ HOTTEST NEW CAFÉ IS…
We’re turning our Information Center into a café and your new favorite spot for lunch. And drinks. And breakfast. And pre- and post-show snacks.
Next time you’re trying to decide where to eat (or drink) it might as well be the beautiful Dallas Arts District. We’re turning the Information Center on our campus into a café. We have sofas, chairs, coffee tables (very Central Perk), and free Wi-Fi (Central Perk didn’t have Wi-Fi). Or you can sit outside in lush Sammons Park.
“Center Café” is casual, a la carte and with food creations by Wolfgang Puck Catering. There are snacks and light meals from morning to pre-show. Also, premium coffee drinks, wine and beer.
“Our patrons have been looking for a comfortable space to grab something light on the way to work or enjoy a beverage and snack before a show,” says Doug Curtis, president and CEO of the AT&T Performing Arts Center. “With our beautiful park, architecture and skyline as a backdrop, Center Café will be that place.”
What about my coffee? You can still grab your coffee to go. We want Dallas to stay caffeinated.
What about the Box Office? It’s nearby, inside the Winspear Opera House, and the hours are the same.
Is it weird to eat at an Info Center? Normally, we’d agree with you. But this sleek, glass pavilion is newly renovated and, like the Winspear Opera House, was designed by Foster + Partners.
Stop by and say hi! Because we’ll probably be using this new space as our unofficial office for a while.
