15th Anniversary Message From President & CEO Warren Tranquada

Dear Friend,

This year, the AT&T Performing Arts marks a milestone – 15 Years! To celebrate with you, we’re excited to present our 15th Anniversary Community Concert Series, a slate of five free events to show our gratitude for the community’s support. More on that in a moment, but first…

Since opening in October 2009, the Center has become a world-renowned performing arts center, an incubator for new works and great culture, and a flourishing cornerstone of the Dallas Arts District, which USA Today readers just voted best arts district in the nation! The Center’s a community gathering place with a service-based mission to maintain a vibrant cultural hub of exceptional spaces for artists, artistic organizations and our community.

And thanks to our stewardship of the Center’s iconic city-owned buildings, they remain a source of pride for the citizens of Dallas — an investment still generating returns and providing a diverse range of entertainment for North Texas.

The Center, along with our presenting partners, bring the best of Broadway and the world’s finest entertainers and dance companies to North Texas. Our stages showcase the work of our five esteemed resident companies, as well as new and emerging Dallas arts organizations. And our free, award-winning arts education and community programs provide cultural experiences for tens of thousands each year.

And this fall, our 15th Anniversary Community Concert Series will feature five free events — a mix of new concerts and special enhancements to traditional favorites!

You can get more details on these concerts and RSVP HERE on our website. Please join us! And keep an eye open for news about a new holiday tradition at the Center – Camp Christmas!

The AT&T Performing Arts Center is proud to have been part of this vibrant cultural community for the past 15 years. Our vision today: Shaping the stage for Dallas to thrive. We appreciate the generous support of our corporate sponsors, foundations, donors, community and city partners, dedicated staff and volunteers. And of course, we’re most grateful for the support of patrons like you. Without you, none of this would be possible. We look forward to entertaining, educating and inspiring all of you for decades to come!

Sincerely,

Warren Tranquada
