Dallas Creatives: Unbridled / Unlimited / Unleashed
The Elevator Project showcases the creativity, innovation, and diversity of Dallas’ performing arts community. Each season features bold, genre-spanning work by local artists and arts organizations, selected through a competitive process by a panel of arts professionals and advocates.
Unique performances in outstanding venues
Performances range from one-night events to multi-week productions and showcase a wide variety of disciplines, including theatre, dance, spoken word, opera, cabaret, comedy, and more.
Most Elevator Project performances take place in the Wyly Theatre’s Studio Theatre or the Winspear Opera House’s Hamon Hall, though additional venues across the AT&T Performing Arts Center campus may be utilized based on project needs and venue availability.
The Elevator Project is presented by the Eugene McDermott Foundation and made possible through the generous support of the City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture, The Theodore and Beulah Beasley Foundation, and the Texas Commission on the Arts.

Qualifications
Dallas-based artists and arts organizations are eligible to apply, with special consideration given to those without a permanent performance home.
Successful proposals may include new and experimental works, culturally significant productions, innovative audience experiences, and performances designed to engage audiences in unique ways across the Center’s campus.
Submission process:
Applications for the 2027/2028 season will be accepted from noon Monday, October 19, 2026, through noon Monday, November 9, 2026. Selected projects must be presented between August 1, 2027, and July 31, 2028.
