Paul Mejia’s The Seasons-
Composer Alexander Glazounov’s score for The Seasons is given a rich, romantic interpretation by choreographer Paul Mejia. A shimmering score provides the backdrop as the season changes from icy winter to spring garlands, from spirited summer to vibrant autumn.
Christopher Wheeldon’s This Bitter Earth pas de deux-
This breathtaking and poetic dance for a couple explores the haunting, tenuous melodies set to a remix of Dinah Washington’s soulful rendition of “This Bitter Earth” and Max Richter’s “On the Nature of Daylight” by Tony-award winning choreographer Christopher Wheeldon.
August Bournonville’s Flower Festival pas de deux-
This popular stand-alone piece excerpted from August Bournonville’s full-length Flower Festival in Genzano presents two young lovers demonstrating the choreographer’s signature fleet-footed choreography, slowing down only for a romantic pas de deux.
