Festive holiday fun for the whole family awaits as Reliant lights up the entire AT&T Performing Arts Center campus once again! This annual free festival includes an abundance of wonderful holiday events for all ages, including:
- Headliner and legendary Dallas alt rock band Jackopierce with a special appearance from the NRG Party Band
- Thousands of LED lights illuminating Sammons Park
- A Christmas-themed drone show by world record holder Sky Elements will blast off with fireworks from Pyrotex
- A wintery snow playground with REAL SNOW
- Kids’ crafting area
- Free photos with Santa sponsored by Lexus
- Free miniature golf on the Putting Green
- Expanded food and beverage offerings
- Reliant’s fan-favorite blinking Santa hats and more…
Hosted by Nelly Carreño!
Nelly Carreño is a bilingual Chief Meteorologist with 25 years of television experience in top markets including Dallas, Boston, and Chicago. She currently leads the Univision Dallas weather team, where she delivers trusted forecasts and live coverage of major events ranging from blizzards and hurricanes to severe weather outbreaks across North Texas. Recognized with numerous Emmy Awards—including the 2024 Lone Star Emmy for Outstanding Achievement in Weathercast, the 2023 Lone Star Emmy for Talent in Weather, and the 2023 Lone Star Emmy for Outstanding Achievement in Weather News, Carreño has built a reputation as one of the most respected meteorologists in the region. Beyond weather, she has anchored morning newscasts, hosted network entertainment specials, and produced original programming such as the weekly magazine show. A graduate of the University of Texas at Austin and a Certified Broadcast Meteorologist through Mississippi State University, she combines science, storytelling, and community connection to inform and inspire audiences every day.
