Join the Center for a special Patio Sessions celebrating five decades of extraordinary artistry at the legendary Booker T. Washington High School for the Visual and Performing Arts. For 50 years, our next-door neighbor in the Dallas Arts District has nurtured generations of artists, earning its reputation as one of the nation’s premier arts magnet schools. This special anniversary performance brings the Booker T. community to Sammons Park for an evening showcasing the talent that has defined the school for half a century. Principal Garry Williams and Director of Vocal Studies Andrea Wallace will take the stage alongside alumni and students for a celebration of Booker T.’s remarkable past, present, and future.
