This workshop introduces participants to the fundamentals of musical theatre dance, emphasizing expression, rhythm, and embodied storytelling. Through guided choreography and creative exploration, participants will build confidence, coordination, and connection in a supportive space.

Open to all experience levels.

Bio:

Austin Ray Beck is a Dallas-based performer, choreographer, comedian, and teaching artist. His recent credits include The Trade, Most Likely Forever Yours, Mamma Mia, Legally Blonde, and Elf: The Musical. Austin has also appeared onstage in HYPE Dallas (Dancer), Miss Nelson Has a Field Day (Patrick), Xanadu (Thalia), West Side Story (Riff), and Legally Blonde (Carlos). When Austin is not working on a production, you can find him at the box office at the AT&T Performing Arts Center or teaching a weekly musical theatre dance class at The Movement Loft. Austin would like to thank his friends, family, and two cats, Peter & Tobias, for their constant love and support.
