Join the world-renowned Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo for a ballet class like no other. In this workshop, dancers will explore The Dying Swan—a classic solo turned iconic by the Trocks—through the lens of technique, theatricality, and irreverent humor.

Expect a blend of solid ballet fundamentals, playful improvisation, and comic timing as you learn how to breathe new (and hilarious) life into one of ballet’s most dramatic farewells. All levels welcome—bring your best bourrée and your biggest personality.

Instructor: Company Ballet Master, Raffaele Morra

Raffaele Morra is a teacher, former dancer, and Ballet Master of Les Ballets Trockadero de Monte Carlo.  He began studying classical ballet in Fossano Italy, his hometown, in 1986 and became a member of the “Compagnia di Danza del Teatro Nuovo”  in Torino in 1994. Morra joined the Trocks in 2001. With the company, he has danced a variety of leading male and female roles and has choreographed works including “Majisimas,” a parody of the ballet “Majisimo” by Cuban choregrapher Jorge Garcia. As the Trocks’ Ballet Master since 2015, Morra has led numerous master classes and workshops.
