About the program

Disney Musicals in Schools Presented by the Moody Foundation develops sustainable musical theatre programs in public elementary schools. AT&T Performing Arts Center is proud to be the only performing arts center in Texas to enter this acclaimed partnership.

Students and teachers work together, developing a wide range of skills, including critical thinking, problem-solving, interpersonal relationships, ensemble building, communication, and self-confidence.

At schools that are selected, 3rd-5th grade students spend 17 weeks working with professional teaching artists to produce 30-minute Disney KIDS musicals on their school campuses.

Each school performs at the Center as part of the Student Share Celebration in April.

Applications for this school year are closed. Please check back in August 2025.

Through the unique world of musical theatre, Disney Musicals in Schools helps foster positive relationships between students, faculty, staff, parents, and the community.
