Emerging Professionals Rejoice: Turn Up the Lights and Center Social return to the AT&T Performing Arts Center

Join the Center and other young professionals who are passionate about community engagement and the arts.

The Center is excited to announce tickets are on sale for Turn Up The Lights 2024, taking place on October 19 at 7:00 p.m. at Sammons Park and the Wyly Theatre. Turn Up is an annual interactive social extravaganza for emerging North Texas professionals who are eager to support the Center’s mission and programs. The event promises an unforgettable night in heart of the Dallas Arts District featuring captivating performances in dance, visual arts, and vocals. Attendees can also enjoy delectable bites and cocktails while the roving party leads attendees on an arts-filled journey.

Turn Up is hosted by the Center’s Auxiliary Board, a dynamic group of young professionals who complement the work of our Board of Directors. The group engages with the Center beyond fundraising through volunteerism, community engagement, and professional development opportunities. As a non-profit organization, the Center relies on this and other philanthropic support to continue offering impactful programming and free community and education programs at the Center and throughout North Texas.

“Our Auxiliary Board’s role continues to evolve in the way they support the Center’s work and mission,” says Jennifer Perez, the Center’s Director of Corporate & Foundation Relations. “We’re excited to have this group of young professionals engaged in planning and producing an event for their peers and colleagues, while also raising funds for the Center’s ongoing work. It’s going to be a magical evening, and we can’t wait to welcome patrons to this unforgettable night!”

The Center is also in the final stages of relaunching Center Social, an emerging leaders social group that blends the arts and community engagement through exclusive collaborative experiences. Members receive special access to curated performances, invitation-only events, and professional development and social opportunities at the Center. The launch of Center Social is coming soon, and prospective members are encouraged to sign up for the Center’s newsletter for the latest updates.
