The Blues Bridges Communities with Art
In late May, the AT&T Performing Arts Center set up at Eloise Lundy Park in The Bottom neighborhood of Oak Cliff for the joyous and soulful sounds of Blues in the Bottom, a concert tribute to former resident, blues legend T. Bone Walker. Residents and visitors from around Dallas flocked to the area, which includes the 10th Street Historic District, bringing the community together around an unforgettable celebration of musical heritage. The extraordinary artist lineup included, The Stephen Hull Experience, Gregg A. Smith and his Blues Revue Band, and Tamara Tramell-Peterson.
