While we do request that mobile devices be silenced during performances, please feel free to check your messages at an appropriate break or intermission. Additionally, Guest Services is happy to deliver urgent messages.

If you are expecting an urgent message, please provide 214-978-3620 as a point of contact. To deliver messages, we require the patron’s name, section, row and seat number. Please see any Guest Services representative at the theater if you need to use this service.

If you lose a personal item while visiting the AT&T Performing Arts Center, submit a claim with a detailed, accurate description of the lost item. All items are held for 45 days, with the exception of ID cards, driver’s licenses and credit or debit cards. Unclaimed ID cards or driver’s licenses will be returned to the state of issue after 15 days. Credit or debit cards will be reported as found to the issuer and destroyed after three days if unclaimed. Unclaimed electronic devices will be donated to cellphonebank.org.

Yes! We offer booster seats at the Winspear Opera House and the Wyly Theatre.

Coat check is available in both the Winspear Opera House and Wyly Theatre during colder months or inclement weather.

Yes, assistive listening devices are available at the Concierge & Accessibility desk at the Winspear Opera House and at the box office at the Wyly Theatre. There is no charge for the devices, but an ID is required and will be held until the device is returned.

No, outside food and beverages are not allowed. Concessions are available for purchase in all venues.

Yes, concessions are allowed for most presentations, but specific guidelines about what is allowed will vary by production.

Yes, blankets and small chairs with no more than a 4″ rise are welcome in Strauss Square unless otherwise noted for a specific production.

The AT&T Performing Arts Center is dedicated to inclusivity. Accessible parking, assistive listening devices, open captioning, sign language interpretation and sensory-inclusive aid are available.

The AT&T Performing arts Center has a no-pets-allowed policy inside Center buildings and Strauss Square. (ADA-approved service animals are welcome.) Pets on leashes are allowed in Sammons Park. Pet waste stations are available; please pick up after your pet.

Availability of late seating is determined by each show appearing at the Center and is permitted in most cases. You may be held in the lobby until an appropriate time to enter or be asked to take the first available seats until intermission.

Any attire that complements the spirit of the performance or occasion you are attending is the way to go!

The Winspear Opera House and Wyly Theatre lobbies typically open 90 minutes prior to curtain. The doors to the audience chambers open approximately 30 minutes prior to curtain. At Strauss Square, the gate typically opens one hour prior to showtime.

Venue tours are free (and fun!) and take place at 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on the first Saturday of every month. Tours begin at the Winspear Opera House and do not require a reservation.

Many artists strictly prohibit photography or video of any kind, and performances are copyrighted. To avoid distracting other patrons with the light from your mobile devices, please leave your cameras and phones in your pocket or purse unless the artist explicitly encourages photography.

The nonprofit AT&T Performing Arts Center prohibits the carrying of any type of firearm on premises for all events (Texas Penal Code 30.05, 30.06, 30.07). Police officers may carry their service weapon if they have both their badge and state-issued peace officer license. It should be presented to public safety prior to screening. Parking

The Center offers convenient underground, on-site, valet and self-parking options during performance times. Underground parking is available below the AT&T Performing Arts Center in Lexus Red Parking and under Moody Performance Hall in Lexus Silver Parking. Both parking facilities are accessed from Jack Evans Street.

  • Lexus Red Parking serves Annette Strauss Square, Sammons Park and Winspear Opera House (including Hamon Hall). Waze | Google Maps

We strongly encourage purchasing parking with your tickets to guarantee your space. There are also several independent parking lots nearby, providing more than 3,000 spaces.

For performances at the Majestic Theatre, metered parking is available on the downtown streets nearby, and commercial lots and garages also are nearby, at the corner of Elm and Harwood streets. (Plan ahead; some lots and garages accept cash only.) Waze | Google Maps

For performances at the Texas Theatre, free parking is available at the Texas Theatre lot, adjacent to the Bank of Texas at the intersection of Madison Avenue and Centre Street, as well as along Jefferson Boulevard after 4 p.m. (Parking is metered along Jefferson before 4 p.m. and costs 25 cents per hour.) For parking at the Kalita Humphreys Theater, free parking is available in William B. Dean Park, located off Blackburn Street near the intersection with Turtle Creek Boulevard. Space is limited and open to the public; it’s advisable to arrive early for your performance. Waze | Google Maps

Tickets

Ticket prices may decrease below the initial ticket price, but we do not offer price adjustments or refunds. As with all our tickets, all sales are final.

E-tickets are sent via email confirmation after your order is complete. This email may take up to 10 minutes to arrive in your email. Alternatively, you can log in to your account to view your upcoming events and view your e-tickets immediately using Manage Tickets.

Some tickets may have a delayed e-ticket release per the artist or show. If you have any questions about your e-tickets, please call the box office at 214-880-0202.

Subscription tickets are generally available in your online account after seating is complete.

Subscribers will be sent an email when they are accessible in your account. To have your tickets mailed or held at Will Call, please contact the box office at 214-880-0202

As a general rule, subscribers may exchange their tickets for another performance of the same production. An exchange fee or price change may apply. Single tickets to some events are exchangeable for a $10 fee per ticket — and a price change may be incurred —but as a general rule, single tickets are not exchangeable. Please call our box office at 214-880-0202 and we can assist you.

All tickets are nonrefundable.

Call the Box Office at 214-880-0202 to exchange your tickets. Please have your current tickets handy when you call. Tickets must be exchanged at least 24 hours prior to the ticketed performance date.

You have a couple of options. You can offer your tickets to a friend. Surprise tickets make fantastic gifts! Or you can donate your tickets back to the AT&T Performing Arts Center for resale. You’ll receive a tax donation letter for the face value of the tickets.

Tickets for donation must be received at least 24 hours prior to the performance. Please call the Box Office at 214-880-0202 to arrange the donation. A donation letter for tax purposes will be mailed to you within two weeks of your performance.

Call the box office at 214-880-0202 and we’ll be happy to check availability for extra seats near yours,. If there are no seats near yours, we can help you select new seats.

No problem! We will be happy to reprint your ticket. You must present a valid ID in person at the box office to receive your replacement ticket.

We are truly sorry that you didn’t enjoy the performance, but tickets are nonrefundable. If the art did not resonate with you, we encourage you to have a discussion with other members of your party about the work. Through discussion it is possible to add meaning and value, even for a piece of work that was not to your taste.

Everyone, regardless of age, must have a ticket. Children under the age of 4 will not be admitted unless the performance is family-friendly and appropriate for all ages. Please see the performance description for the event you are purchasing for guidelines.

Disruptions impact the experience for patrons and performers. Everyone must be able to sit quietly through a two-hour (or longer) performance without disrupting others. Ushers may ask parents whose children are noisy to remove them from the venue. If there is a repeated disruption by anyone, we reserve the right to revoke admission and refund your purchase.

Yes we do! Gift certificates may be purchased for any denomination and are redeemable for any AT&T Performing Arts Center-presented performance at the AT&T Performing Arts Center for one year from the date purchased. They may be purchased and redeemed online, at the box office or over the phone at 214-880-0202.

24/25 Broadway Season FAQ

E-tickets for shows presented by the AT&T Performing Arts Center (Company, Dear Evan Hansen, Mean Girls, Ain’t Too Proud and The Addams Family) will be available in the My Upcoming Events section of your account. E-tickets will be released in late May and you will be notified by email when tickets have been released.

E-tickets for the AT&T Performing Arts Center presented add-on shows (STOMP) and TITAS/DANCE UNBOUND (CARMEN.maquia by Ballet Hispanico) will also be available in the My Upcoming Events section of your account. E-tickets will be released in late May and you will be notified by email when tickets have been released.

E-tickets for the Broadway Dallas presented add-on shows (Come From Away and Life of Pi) will be available at a later date and accessible through the Broadway Dallas app (available in the App Store and Google Play). You will receive an email when tickets are released with instructions on how to access tickets at a later date.

As a season ticket holder, you may exchange tickets for one production to another within the 2024-2025 Broadway at the Center season for the AT&T Performing Arts Center presented shows (Company, Dear Evan Hansen, Mean Girls, Ain’t Too Proud and The Addams Family)

This benefit does not extend to the Center Presents add-on show (STOMP), TITAS/DANCE UNBOUND (CARMEN.maquia by Ballet Hispanico) or the Broadway Dallas add-on shows (Come From Away or Life of Pi).

Show swaps may incur a price difference due to show date, seating section, or ticket pricing, that is due at the time of the exchange. No refunds will be given for exchanges to a lower-priced show or seating section.

Season ticket holders can purchase additional tickets now over the phone for the AT&T Performing Arts Center presented shows (Company, Dear Evan Hansen, Mean Girls, Ain’t Too Proud and The Addams Family). Seating will be assigned in late May once all season ticket holders have been assigned subscription seats.

Sorry, there are no refunds. All ticket sales are final. You do have a couple of options, though!

  • You can offer tickets to a friend. Tickets make fantastic gifts! E-tickets may be transferred and sent directly to your friends through your online account.
  • You may also donate your tickets to the Center for resale. Ticket donation must be made at least 24 hours before the performance and may not be made after the performance under any circumstance. Your donation may be tax-deductible and supports the Center’s community and educational programs.

Every person, regardless of age, must have a ticket to enter the facility, including lap children. Children under 4 including infants are not permitted in the theater unless the program is child/family friendly and recommended for all ages.

Some shows contain mature content, language and themes and are not suitable for children.  Please check individual show pages for content advisories and age recommendations.

For the enjoyment of all guests, patrons with children who are disruptive during a performance will be asked to leave without a refund.

Yes, Assistive Listening Devices are available at Guest Services. There is no charge for the devices, but a photo ID is required.

Public safety

We always put the safety of our patrons, artists, volunteers and staff first. We look forward to welcoming you safely to the AT&T Performing Arts Center!

  • For your safety, magnetometer security screening is in place for all ticketed events. As a reminder, weapons are not permitted inside our venues — with or without a permit.
  • Law enforcement officers may conceal carry upon presentation of verifiable agency or LEOSA credentials. Please check in with the security supervisor prior to screening.
  • Lobbies and public spaces are monitored by video.
  • Safety personnel are present at all Center performances.
  • Our friendly staff and volunteers have been highly trained on all strategies and policies.

Our Safety Protocols cover all public areas, including entry areas, lobbies, event spaces, restrooms, seating areas, ticket center, stage & backstage, food and beverage preparation and the administrative offices on AT&T Performing Arts Center Campus. The Campus consists of the Winspear Opera House, Wyly Theatre, Sammons Park, the Center Cafe and Strauss Square.

A bag policy is in effect for Strauss Square. Only the following bags will be allowed in the venue:

  • One bag that is clear plastic or vinyl and does not exceed 12 inches x 6 inches x 12 inches.or
  • One 1-gallon clear plastic freezer bag and a small clutch purse no larger than 4.5 inches x 6 .5 inches.

All clear bags and clutch purses will be screened prior to entry.
Exceptions:

  • Patrons who need medical supplies or devices and members of the working media are not subject to the policy but will be required to go through the bag check line at the entry gate for screening.
  • Patrons who require medical supplies or devices must maintain possession at all times. Media and medical exception bags will be tagged once cleared through security.

The Center has added new equipment and protocols to improve safety:

  • Contactless ticket scanners for entry, allowing the use of mobile device, print-at-home, or physical tickets to gain admission.
  • Additional touchless hand sanitizer stations throughout venues.
  • Increased staffing to help guide patrons and answer questions.

The Center is in the process of achieving the Global Biorisk Advisory Council (GBAC) Star Facility Accreditation for stringent protocols for cleaning, disinfection, and infectious disease prevention in its facilities.

The Center has reviewed and improved air quality in all our venues, elevating levels of air circulation and filtration. We use CDC recommended air filtration. All HVAC systems have been upgraded with Merv-13 rated filters, changed quarterly, which are more effecting in trapping microscopic particles including Covid-19.

  • Ventilation systems are operating to full design capabilities to maximize the number of fresh air exchanges per hour.
  • Each elevator contains a UV/Fan system to kill bacteria and virus in the air

We practice thorough disinfection with CDC recommended products paying special attention to high touch areas. Common areas will be equipped with numerous hand sanitizer dispensers.

Frequent cleaning of high touch surfaces:

  • Each escalator handrail has UV system to kill bacteria and virus on handrails
  • Deep cleaning between performances using electrostatic disinfectant devices.
  • UV wanding system and training in place to sanitize high touch areas as needed. Microphones, ALD devices, 2-way radios, keyboards.

NanoSeptic® wraps applied to most door handles and elevator call buttons continuously killing viruses on contact.
